Fractured — Diptych

Two wounds. One surface — split in two.

Crimson blooms erupt across a pair of 16×20" panels — organic, spreading, impossible to contain. Steel-grey structural lines cut across both canvases at angles, trying to hold what's already broken open. Hung together, the diptych format does what a single canvas can't: it makes the fracture literal. The split between the panels is the piece.

Fractured lives in the space between damage and design. The lines suggest order. The blooms refuse it. Neither wins.
