This one wasn't planned.

Painted during a period of turbulence, the eye emerged on its own terms not intention, direction. Just the hand moving and the form appearing. For an artist who paints eyes constantly, this was one that showed up uninvited.

cyan scrolls across deep magenta and burgundy, fluid and forceful. The Watcher vocabulary is all here but looser, more honest and less controlled. You can feel the era it came from.
