Painted during a period of turbulence, the eye emerged on its own — no intention, no direction. Just the hand moving and the form appearing. For an artist who paints eyes constantly, this was the one that showed up uninvited.

Electric cyan scrolls surge across deep magenta and burgundy, fluid and forceful. The Watcher vocabulary is all here — but looser, more honest, less controlled. You can feel the era it came from.
