This original California “No Trespassing” sign was discovered installed in the city bearing a tag from legendary LA writer Morgan. After returning to the location, artist Sham removed the sign and added his own handstyle, creating an object that documents two moments in time and two writers occupying the same surface.
This is not a reproduction, print, or fabricated prop.
The scratches, oxidation, dents, and environmental wear were earned on the street. The added intervention by Sham transforms the sign from discarded infrastructure into a one-of-one artifact of urban memory and graffiti culture.
