Built through layered acrylic, sculpted brushwork, and repeated passes of motion, the piece explores the tension between surrender and resistance—between being overwhelmed by a current and learning how to move through it.
The surface shifts depending on distance.
From across the room it reads as movement.
Up close it becomes a network of decisions, corrections, and accumulated pressure.
This work was created during a period of significant transition and uncertainty. Rather than documenting an event, it documents a state of mind.
